Permit test by state
Pick your state to see how many questions the knowledge test has and what score passes, each with the agency page it came from and the day we checked it. We show a number only when the state agency publishes it and we have confirmed it.

How to read these pages
14 of the 23 states have both numbers confirmed so far. Each number shows a link to the agency page and the date we checked. Where an agency does not publish a number, we say so. Where we have not confirmed one, we say “not yet confirmed” and print nothing.
