Permito

Terms of Use

Effective October 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and FireX Co., Ltd. (“we”) for the Permito app and the website permito.app. By using Permito you agree to them. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to read them with you. Permito is for people age 13 and older.

Educational practice only

Permito is a study tool. Its questions are written by us from public driving rules and each state’s driver handbook and vehicle code. They are practice questions, not questions from any state’s test, and a practice result is not an official score.

We cannot promise that you will pass your test, or that any score in the app matches the result you get. Laws and handbooks change, and we may make mistakes. Check your state’s official handbook and site for the current rules, test format and fees.

Not affiliated with any agency

Permito is a private app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any DMV, state agency or government body, and it cannot issue a permit or a license. State names are used only to say which rules a question set follows.

Purchases

  • Passes (Week Pass, Permit Pass and Family Pass) are one-time purchases made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
  • A Week Pass covers one state for 7 days. A Permit Pass covers one state and ends after 90 days or when you mark your test as passed. Both end on the date shown when you buy them. If you buy another pass for the same state while one is still running, the new one starts when the first ends, so no days are lost. If you take your test and do not pass, a Permit Pass can add 30 more days once, from Settings. A Family Pass has no end date, covers every state, and can be shared with your family through Apple Family Sharing where the store allows it. Week Passes and Permit Passes are not shared that way.
  • The store shows the price before you buy. Prices may change for future purchases.
  • Restore purchases in Settings brings back passes bought with the same Apple Account or Google account.

Refunds

Apple and Google take the payment, so they decide refunds under their own rules. On iPhone, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use the Google Play order history. If something in the app did not work after you bought a pass, write to support@permito.app and we will help, and we will support your refund request to the store.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or download the questions, explanations or images in bulk, or resell or republish them;
  • use bots or other automated means to access the app or website;
  • reverse engineer the app, or try to get around purchase checks or limits;
  • share a single pass beyond what the pass allows, or use Permito to cheat on a state test;
  • use the app or website in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

Our content

The app, its questions, explanations, design and the Permito name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own study. Road sign shapes follow the public MUTCD standard. State handbooks belong to their states.

Warranties and liability

Permito is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no promises that it is complete, current or error free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for a failed test, missed test date or fees paid to a state agency, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Ending use

You can stop using Permito at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if you break these terms. Sections that should survive, such as liability limits, do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, where the operator is based, without limiting the mandatory consumer protection laws of the state or country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If you keep using Permito after a change, you accept it.
